Create Your Own Rowdy Ruru

Get creative with Kuwi Clay – Rowdy Ruru, a fun air-dry clay activity inspired by one of Aotearoa New Zealand's much-loved native birds – the ruru, or morepork.

Children can enjoy shaping and creating their very own Rowdy Ruru using colourful air-dry clay. This hands-on, screen-free activity encourages imagination, creativity and fine motor skills while celebrating the unique wildlife of New Zealand.

Part of the Kuwi & Friends range from Illustrated Publishing, Kuwi Clay makes a wonderful Kiwi-themed gift for children and is a fun way to introduce tamariki to some of Aotearoa's special native birds.

A Creative Kiwi Gift for Kids

Kuwi Clay is perfect for children who love making, moulding and creating. Once their Rowdy Ruru is finished, the air-dry clay can be left to harden, creating a little handmade keepsake they can display and be proud of.

The Rowdy Ruru kit is a lovely choice for a birthday gift, children's gift, Kiwi gift, creative activity or gift hamper. It also pairs beautifully with other Kuwi & Friends products, children's books and gifts available from Florist Ilene.
