Create Your Own Friendly Fantail

Get creative with Kuwi Clay – Friendly Fantail, a fun air-dry clay activity inspired by one of Aotearoa New Zealand's much-loved native birds – the pīwakawaka, or fantail.

Children can enjoy moulding and shaping their very own Friendly Fantail using air-dry clay. This hands-on, screen-free activity encourages creativity, imagination and fine motor skills while celebrating the unique wildlife of New Zealand.

Part of the Kuwi & Friends range from Illustrated Publishing, the Kuwi Clay collection brings some of Aotearoa's favourite native animals to life through fun and creative activities.

A Fun Kiwi Gift for Children

The Friendly Fantail is a wonderful creative gift for children who enjoy making, crafting and exploring nature. Once their fantail creation is complete, the clay can be left to air-dry, creating a special handmade keepsake they can display and be proud of.

It's a lovely choice for a birthday gift, Kiwi gift, children's gift, stocking filler or creative activity, and would make a great addition to a children's gift hamper from Florist Ilene.

The Friendly Fantail also pairs beautifully with other products in the Kuwi Clay range, including Tiny Tūī, Kawakawa Kiwi, Rowdy Ruru and Curious Kākāpō, making it easy to create a collection of fun New Zealand-themed creative activities.
